You get 12 trims with the Grand Cherokee. While still retaining the iconic seven-panel front grille, the Grand Cherokee has an aerodynamic look. The Grand Cherokee can also fit up to five people in the two rows of seats, with luxury features such as a 19-speaker premium sound system.

Power

The Grand Cherokee has four engine options depending on the trim. First is a 3.6-liter V-6 that delivers 295 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Next is an available 5.7-liter 360-horsepower V-8 engine producing 390 pound-feet of torque. You can get a 6.4-liter V-8 470-horsepower engine delivering 475 pound-feet of torque. The final choice is a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 producing a massive 707 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque. You can get this SUV with rear-wheel drive or the optional four-wheel drive. When properly equipped, the Grand Cherokee has a towing capacity of up to 7,200 pounds.

Grand Cherokee L

The Grand Cherokee L has six trims to choose from. The luxurious Grand Cherokee L has a longer wheelbase than the other two Cherokee models and has modern styling with a lean-looking seven-panel grille that sweeps into wing-shaped headlights. The main aspect that sets the Grand Cherokee L apart from the other two is that this is Jeep’s first three-row SUV that can fit up to six or seven people.
